After reading informational texts on snowflakes and a man by the name "Snowflake Bently", Mrs. Bojan's students were challenged with a STEM project to make as many different snowflakes as possible using marshmallows and toothpicks.

Ms. Rietschel’s 4th grade class has been exploring cone shaped volcanoes that explode and create various shapes. The class discovered that when cone shaped volcanoes like Mt. St. Helens erupt, the ash travels thousands of miles and contributes to the formation of fossils.
