We're down to the wire, folks! Round 1 and 2 have crowned their winners from the Elite 8, and the competition is heating up! 🔥
The winners of Rounds 1 and 2 who will move on to the Final Four, will feature an epic showdown between two books by the same author! Reigning Champion "The Day the Crayons Quit" by Drew Dewalt is gearing up to take on "The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors." Who will emerge victorious? Stay tuned to find out!
But wait, there's more excitement coming your way! Our final two rounds of the Elite 8 take place this week. Round 3 will feature "Crossings" vs "The Very Impatient Caterpillar," and in the final Elite 8 round, it's "Dragons Love Tacos" against "The Giving Tree." The tension is palpable as we wait to see which two books will secure their spot in the Final Four!

Mrs. Vavalle's class performed a super fun experiment on Leap Day!!! We learned about the forces of push and pull, and that we can accomplish extraordinary things! In our Hopper Popper activity, students made a folded piece of cardboard jump high in the air, propelled by the pulling force of a rubber band. We had a blast making our Hopper Poppers leap up on Leap Day!!
