Dear D2 and D157 Families, D2 and D157 was originally notified by the McHenry County Department of Health that our staffs would be vaccinated on Thursday, February 11 between 12:30 pm -2:30 pm. In order to provide the needed time for staff to receive the vaccination, we originally scheduled an early release day for students. We have just been informed that due to the high volume of vaccinations being given on February 11, the MCDH has moved our vaccination date and time. All D2 and D157 staff will now be vaccinated on Friday, February 12 between 9:30 am and 11:30 pm. This means we will no longer have an early release for students on Thursday, February 11. Both D2 and D157 will run its regular schedule for Thursday, February 11. Friday, February 12 will still remain a non-attendance day for students due to a previously scheduled School Improvement Day. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience as we work within a fluid framework to get our educational staff vaccinated. Best regards. RGS Picture Day Feb. 4 & 5! If you are having a picture retaken, make sure your child brings their original packet back. If they don't have it with them on retake day, they will get their picture taken, but won't receive their new package until Inter-State Studios receives the original package.
