On Friday 11/17 2nd grade had a Friendsgiving book tasting. The 2nd graders got to sample (read) all the favorite books of their classmates. It was a great morning of enjoying books with friends!

Here are some photos of Ms. Elliott's students from yesterday's 4th grade field trip. They saw the production of Willy Wonka at Wilmot High School. It was a wonderful experience with talented actors, catchy songs, and amazing set design!
Today is the last day of our Fall Food Drive!

Thank you for attending our Veteran's Day Program!
The third graders had a virtual meeting yesterday with Nathan Sucese, a hockey player from the Chicago Wolves. He shared information about his childhood. He talked about the importance of going to school, reading, working hard, being present, and staying focused. He also talked about how he earned two bachelor's degrees in college, while playing hockey. The third graders wrote questions and Nathan took the time to answer ALL OF THEM! 😊
We have GRATITUDE for our retiring teachers! Thank you for your many years of service to our community and our students!
The Candy Monster is still hungry! Please send your students to school with your unwanted treats.
