Online registration for the 2024-25 school year is now open!

All school registration is online. You do not need to complete registration in one sitting; you may save your information and return at a later time. The application is not considered complete until you hit the submit button, after which you will no longer be able to make changes.

The first day of school will be Aug. 19, 2024. See the full school year calendar.

NEW TO THE DISTRICT

If your family is new to District 2 and has NEVER had a student enrolled at a District 2 school, start here. You will first request an account with our student information software, Skyward, which will email your log in information and instructions on how to continue enrolling your new student.

Please note: Three documents providing proof of residency is required for all students. If you are unable to upload these documents while filling out online registration, please contact your school's office.

Three documents providing proof of residency is required for ALL students. Acceptable documents include:

• Utility bills (Nicor, ComEd, etc.)

• Rental lease

• Mortgage statement

• Property tax bill

Other required documents are listed below.

For students transferring from another state:

• Updated physical exam with immunizations

• Vision exam

• Dental exam (2nd grade, 6th grade)

• Request for records

For students transferring from another school within Illinois:

• Physical and proof of immunizations (6th grade)

• Dental exam (2nd grade, 6th grade)

• Request for records

CURRENT OR RETURNING FAMILIES

Log in to Skyward Family Access and click the tab on the left labeled Returning Student Online Registration. Don't remember your login information? Click the "Forgot your Login/Password?" link and it will be emailed it to you.

You will need to complete separate registrations for all students. Use the dropdown at the top of the Skyward Family Access page to switch between children.

Please note: Three documents providing proof of residency is required for all students. You will not be able to submit your registration application until these documents are uploaded.

Which medical forms do I need to have filled out and upload?

• Dental exam (2nd grade, 6th grade)

• Physical (6th grade)

Additional forms may also be needed based on your family's circumstances and can be found here. Some examples include:

• Medication Authorization if your student needs medication to be given during the school day

• Allergy Packet
