At that time, we will also post the results of the survey from last week. This information will be posted to the website, twitter, the district Live Feed, and will also be emailed to your email address on file with the district.
As a reminder, Thursday, March 11, 2021, is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:45 AM.

Perseverance landed yesterday on Mars and will start its mission to search for signs of prior life. The Perseverance Rover's wheels were made in our backyard, at Scot Forge.

Your Box Tops make a difference! Our next collection of clipped Box Tops will be Monday 2/22/2021 through Thursday 2/25/2021. Clipped Box Tops can be sent to the school in your child's backpack. Box Tops can also be dropped off in the Box Tops bin at the front of the school.
Reminder: Friday, Feb. 12 and Monday, Feb. 15 are non-attendance days for Nippersink Dist. 2 students. Hybrid Group A students will resume in-person learning on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Dear D2 and D157 Families,
D2 and D157 was originally notified by the McHenry County Department of Health that our staffs would be vaccinated on Thursday, February 11 between 12:30 pm -2:30 pm. In order to provide the needed time for staff to receive the vaccination, we originally scheduled an early release day for students.
We have just been informed that due to the high volume of vaccinations being given on February 11, the MCDH has moved our vaccination date and time. All D2 and D157 staff will now be vaccinated on Friday, February 12 between 9:30 am and 11:30 pm.
This means we will no longer have an early release for students on Thursday, February 11. Both D2 and D157 will run its regular schedule for Thursday, February 11. Friday, February 12 will still remain a non-attendance day for students due to a previously scheduled School Improvement Day.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused and thank you for your patience as we work within a fluid framework to get our educational staff vaccinated.

SGE Picture Retake Day is Thursday 2/4 & Friday 2/5!
In-school students will have their picture taken in the morning (ECE afternoon class will be @ 1pm).
If your student is getting retakes, send the original package with them.
REMOTE Students: you can bring your child to the school anytime between 9:30am-12:30pm. Drive up to the gym doors and a PTO volunteer will bring your child into the gym for Pictures or Retakes. Please wait in your car for your child to be brought back.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2021-2022 school year is now open!
SGE PTO & RBNHS Fundraiser - Richmond Motor Sales and Service is donation 10% of your bill for any service or maintenance performed on your vehicle in the month of February.
If you are having a picture retaken, make sure your child brings their original packet back. If they don't have it with them on retake day, they will get their picture taken, but won't receive their new package until Inter-State Studios receives the original package.

In consideration for tomorrow's day of remote learning, some adjustments have been made. Please note the following regarding “Group B Day” instruction for Tuesday, January 26th:
Instruction will take place via zoom from 8:45-12:30. Teachers will provide students with breaks during this time.
Students will use the rest of the afternoon for lunch and asynchronous learning.
Teachers will be available from 1:00-2:30 via zoom and email for students who need assistance.
Group A Day students can still log in to participate in live specials from 8:45-2:15.
Office staff will be available via email from 7:30-4:00.
