Dear Nippersink Families,
It is my pleasure to introduce Mrs. Carie Walter as our new Associate Principal at Nippersink Middle School.
Mrs. Walter was selected from a pool of over 25 highly qualified candidates. Following the initial screening process, an interview process was conducted with a panel of staff members. Mrs. Walter was asked to present to our panel of staff about her story as a cultural and instructional leader. Mrs. Walter then had a final interview that consisted of Dr. Lind and myself. At the conclusion of our interview process it was clear that Mrs. Walter possessed the knowledge and collaborative leadership style that align with District 2 and NMS values.
Mrs. Walter comes to Nippersink Middle School from District 301 in Burlington and has over 25 years of educational experience. Many of these years have been as a building administrator at the middle school level. She is looking forward to continuing to add to our growing positive school culture. She comes with an extensive background and knowledge around social emotional learning and behavior management.
Mrs. Walter will be at our locker day on August 12th, please stop by and meet her!
