Our packet pick up date for all kindergarten and 1st grade students will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 3:00-5:30 p.m. Packets will also be available for 2nd-5th grade students who do NOT have access to technology. (If your 2nd-5th grader does have technology, you will not need a packet for them.)
The following items will be available for you to pick up during this time:
â— Student desk/classroom items
â— Remote learning work packets (all K-1 students and /IEP/reading/OT/Social Work students)
â— Student medications
â— Yearbooks (only if already purchased online)
â— Student Council Skate to Appreciate Event pre-paid roller skating money
â— PTO Daddy/Daughter Dance payments
The following items can be returned to school at this time:
â— Library books
â— Textbooks
In an effort to keep traffic moving as smoothly as possible, please plan to pick your child’s desk/classroom items up first. These items will given to you around the back of the school. Please enter on the drive by the 5th grade classrooms and stay as far over to the right side as possible. As you pull around back, loop with the parking lot perimeter and pull your vehicle up to the fence opening. You will simply need to let the staff member helping you know who your child(ren) is(are) and they will get their bags. Once you have your child’s things, you may continue out the same way you came in. When you are back to Broadway, you are asked to turn right only to again help with the flow of traffic.
After you have your child’s desk/classroom supply bag, you are invited to pick up anything else you may need which will be located in the front of RGS. Please remember that you are asked to stay in your car. Staff members will be available to help you. When coming through the front, please start at the main entrance and then proceed to the East parking lot. *If you do not have a packet to pick up, you do not have to wait in the packet line and may veer to the left of these cars. Please be mindful and drive with caution in this event.
Main Entrance: Remote learning packets and medications can be picked up here. Library books and textbooks can also be dropped off here.
East Parking Lot: Tables will be set up for Yearbooks, Skate to Appreciate, and Daddy/Daughter Dance.
Please understand that traffic might be very heavy and congested when you come tomorrow. Please remember to be patient and kind to one another and realize that there might be some wait time involved. This is a new adventure for all of us and we will do our very best to get you in and out as quickly as possible.
